A Dream is Just a Dream

A dream is just a dream Before you get back to doing your direct sales/network marketing business next week, take some quiet time to celebrate what you achieved last year and to create a clear vision and plan for what you want to accomplish in the New Year. You might have lots of big dreams for your business but without realistic goals, a dream is just a dream. Without a plan and a deadline to achieve these goals, you are planning to fail. This goal-setting questionnaire will help direct you to succeed in achieving your first quarter (January to March) goals. Remember to stretch!

“A goal should scare you a little and excite you a lot” ~ Joe Vitale

Your goal-setting questionnaire

  1. What did I achieve in my business in 2015?
  2. What do I want to achieve in my business in 2016?
  3. Why is it important that I achieve this?
  4. What was my personal sales goal last year in the first quarter?
  5. What is my personal sales goal for this first quarter of the year? Jan. goal? Feb. goal? March goal?
  6. How many consultants did I recruit last year in the first quarter? What is my recruiting goal for this first quarter of the year? Jan. goal? Feb. goal? March goal?
  7. What is my promotion goal in the first quarter of the year?
  8. How many team members did I have this time last year? How many team member do I have now?
  9. How many team members do I need to meet to achieve my promotion goal? Add a few more.
  10. Create a detailed plan of action to meet my goals in the first quarter.

“A dream is just a dream. A goal is a dream with a plan and a deadline.” ~ Harvey Mackey

Fill out the questionnaire yourself and share it with your upline, coach, peer and/or mentor. Be sure to post these goals in your office where you can see them everyday! If you have a downline, use it during a coaching call with your team members at the beginning of January. It could also be used to discuss during the January team meeting to motivate and inspire your team to set BIG goals for their first quarter. Be sure to open up a discussion to offer strategies for making these goals a reality. Did someone in your team have a BIG first quarter last year? Interview this individual to find out how they did it and help inspire others to do it this year too! You might want to issue a sales, recruiting or promotion challenge and incentive to help motivate them to reach their goals in the first quarter!

Leave me a comment letting me know how you used this questionnaire to achieve your first quarter goals and that of your team.
